History of the BCNP
The BCNP is an inspiration from the book The Last Alternative: What hope for the Cameroons by Alex Ndive Lisinge
The Last Alternative: What hope for the Cameroons depicts the difference between equality in law and equality in fact, most especially in the Cameroons where discrimination is the norm of the day.
The BCNP is a nationalist and social democratic political party. The BCNP is a regionalist political party that supports and campaigns for a greater autonomy in Former British Cameroons and a movement that self-identifies with the promotion of civic nationalism of the Anglophone culture, Ethnocultural and Multicultural Democracy.
Our Vision
The BCNP is committed to making former British Cameroons we know it can be. Our vision is of a prosperous British Cameroons where everyone gets the chance to fulfil their potential. We want a fair society where no-one is left behind. And our vision is for British Cameroons as an autonomous Region – equal to the very best.
Our Manifesto
A manifesto is a plan of what we want to do if we win the Election. It is about our goals and what we want to change.
A manifesto is a list of things a political party says it will do if it is elected. This manifesto will cover our key pledges and the areas of a Parliament for British Cameroon to debate matters that concerns British Cameroonians solely This includes: the economy, education, health, justice, rural affairs, housing, environment, equal opportunities, consumer advocacy and advice, transport and taxation, defending British Cameroon’s parliament/ government and your rights, and putting British Cameroon’s interests first.
Our Constitution
Equal Status With La Republique Du Cameroon & A Better former British Cameroon
To be in the driving seat of our own destiny and to shape our own future is a natural desire. It is what we all hope for ourselves and it is what the BCNP believes is right for former British Cameroons.
